COOK-OFF RULES
• Ribs MUST be prepared and cooked on site.
• A minimum of 12 ribs must be submitted for judging.
• Meat will be inspected by a Ribfest / PACE official.
• Mandatory participant meeting will be held at 3 p.m. (At least one representative from each team must attend, failure to do so will result in disqualification).
• All contestants will be provided with a 12ft x 12ft space. If more space is needed please notify PACE by Sept. 1.
• All contestants must be in place by 12 p.m. (noon) and all vehicles removed from the area.
• Contestants provide their own grilling equipment.
• Live animals are not permitted in the cooking area.
• Selling or giving away your ribs to the general
public is prohibited unless you are a registered vendor.
• Please keep your area clean and sanitary at all times.
• City of Peoria Health Dept requires each cooking area supply a free-flowing spigot container of water with an on/off valve, a catch container, hand soap and disposable towels to properly wash your hands.
